Hello everyone, My name is Sam Chapman; I am a special educational needs teacher based in Bangkok, Thailand. I have extensive experience teaching children at primary level key stages 1 and 2. I specialise in dyslexia support and also help students with other reading, writing and spelling difficulties. I also have many years of experience helping students with a whole range of different learning disabilities and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties such as autism, global developmental delay and ADHD. I use a range of approaches, strategies and methods to help children learn English and other subjects. I primarily use a multi-sensory approach to help students learn to read, write and spell using lots of different programs based on their learning needs. I also have lots of experience teaching students in mainstream settings and can base my lessons on mainstream students across a range of different ages. I have a great passion for teaching reading, writing and spelling as it is something very close to me. I have a brother with these difficulties, and this is why I am passionate about helping students. I enjoy reading, learning new languages and playing football with friends in my spare time.
