Hi there! I'm an ESL Teacher, and I have a 5+ years experience working at schools/language centers in China and Thailand. I've been very lucky to teach different age groups from 3 year old kids to teens to adults. A couple of years ago, I also started tutoring online. My main goal is to provide language practice that is both useful and enjoyable/comfortable. Therefore I use a very personalized approach: I always want to know what my students expect from their lessons, what their preferred learning style is, etc. I mostly teach General English, English Grammar, IELTS Preparation, English Conversation and Business English. I am not a native speaker, but I have a clear accent and I'm very confident with my English, since I visited and stayed in native speaking countries. Also I mostly use English these days so it's my primary language, and it has been this way for a few years now. Finally, I have a degree in ESL and a CELTA certificate (Pass B). I majored in teaching English as a Second Language, but I'm a Russian native speaker and I'm very good with Russian Grammar. Thus I also offer Russian lessons (conversation/grammar). I speak Chinese and I can help you to start your journey towards conquering Chinese language. It's an amazing language but it's challenging too. Judging from my own experience, I'd say it's better to start learning with a tutor who speaks your language fluently (even if they aren't Chinese native speakers), because there are many things in Chinese worth explaining at the beginner level.
