Experience

I have over ten years of diverse teaching experience in Thailand and Taiwan, teaching Thai, Taiwanese and Japanese learners. During this time I have acquired an extensive array of teaching skills which enable me to deliver imaginative, enjoyable, learner centered lessons to a variety of age groups and academic levels, including young adults. I have taught corporate learners who engage daily with international clients, secondary students who wish to attend universities abroad, and primary learners with a thirst for knowledge. My tutoring sessions are tailored to meet the individual needs of my learners. The aim is to make each session interesting, enjoyable and relevant. I am an energetic, fun and astutely sensitive tutor who still enjoys the organic process of learning and teaching. As a senior teacher with Bell English, a bespoke UK based EAL institute, I was selected to tour with their management team to China and deliver demonstration lessons on their behalf. These lessons showcased the English immersion approach to EAL teaching favored by Bell English at the Academic Conference of the Association of Internationalization held in Guangdong, China. It is my hope that by choosing to learn with me, you will grow not only in confidence as an English speaker, but as an individual who understands their worth.

Hobbies

I have love for most sports, especially cricket and rugby and relished the opportunity I had to coach my local baseball and softball teams. I enjoy spending time outdoors in nature birdwatching, and swim in lakes and snorkel in seas whenever possible. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to travel, see new places, taste unique food, experience different cultures and meet like-minded people from across the globe
